✅ Fresh anchovies are safe – excellent protein and taurine. ❌ Canned/preserved = extremely high sodium. Fresh or low-sodium only.

Obligate carnivore: Excellent taurine source when fresh.

No. Just as high in sodium as dry salt-cured.

Better sodium-wise but often contains added salt.
